    Orders placed at innovativehomesys.com are secure.  The Innovative Home Systems web servers are equipped with industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) data encryption technology that enables anyone using an SSL-compatible browser (such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome) to send and receive data from our server in encrypted form.
    All Innovative Home Systems Internet hardware is maintained in secure computer rooms.
    When you click on "checkout" our server will automatically transfer you into secure mode if supported by your browser.  In all cases, the displayed URL will show https instead of http.

    In order to process your order efficiently or to send you the correspondence you request, we will need to collect certain information from you.  This information may include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, or credit card number and expiration date, which will not be shared with third parties unless you consent.

    When you order online you will receive confirmation e-mails and, in some cases, a follow-up e-mail asking to rate your experience

    On rare occasions we may disclose specific information upon governmental request in order to assist with fraud protection or investigation

Terms of Service

Payment Terms:
Innovative Home Systems accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and PayPal.  Export orders may be subject to special export payment terms and conditions.  All payments must be in U.S. dollars.

Shipping Charges:
    All shipping will be by either United States Post Office or UPS Ground.
    Shipping costs depend on the size and weight of the item and the order destination.   To estimate shipping costs, place an item in your shopping cart and then click the Proceed to Checkout button.  On the order confirmation page you can see the prices and estimated delivery charges.
    Products are shipped F.O.B. shipping point with shipping and handling fees paid by Innovative Home Systems and charged to the customer.  C.O.D. shipments are not permitted.  Other terms and conditions may apply for shipments outside the United States.  Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon tender of shipment to the carrier.  If product is damaged in transit, customer must file claim with the carrier.

Order Confirmation:
    Orders usually ship within 4 business days
    When your order ships you will receive an order confirmation e-mail containing the shipping date and USPS or UPS Tracking Number.

 

Refund Policy

Returns:

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Gift cards and downloadable software products exempt from being returned.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.  

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

To return an item, please follow the steps below:

    Contact customer service at 720-733-HAWK (4295) or support@garagehawk.com to receive an RMA # (Return Authorization Number). Note: All returns must have an RMA # to be processed.
    Carefully repackage and double-box the merchandise and clearly mark the RMA # on the outside of the package.
    Include a copy of your invoice or sales receipt with date of purchase in your shipment.
    Ship returns with a tracking number obtained from your shipping carrier (recommended for your protection).

Returns not meeting the above conditions will be charged a restocking fee that can vary from 15% up to the full purchase price or returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

Please note: 'Open Box Buy' items may be returned for full refund to buyer's credit card within the standard return policy terms; however, defective 'Open Box Buy' items will not be replaced with new items. Credit card purchases will be refunded to the original purchaser's card.

Purchases made with checks, cash, or money orders will be refunded by check. Please allow two weeks for processing. Innovative Home Systems is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in shipment.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within two business days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@garagehawk.com.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
