Heavy duty load controllers are simply not available for most automation technologies. Our Model 1470 Automated Load Controller allows control of any heavy load using WiFi or any other automation technology you choose.
Our custom assemblies adapt a standard automated wall switch of your choice (included) into an electrical super controller capable of controlling almost any load. This design also allows tremendous flexibility for modifications. Can also be used with popular voice control systems like Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri.
This product is great for controlling 240 volt appliances like heating and air conditioning units, spas, swimming pools, electric water heaters, well pumps, high intensity lighting, even electric vehicle charging units using your current automation technology, regardless of the brand.
Options are available for Single Phase applications up to 40 amps or more.* And now, for the first time, popular automation technologies can even be used with commercial or industrial 3 Phase systems with current requirements of 60 amps or more.*
Attention: Neutral Wire connection is required. A key component previously used to allow our HomeKit Model 1470 to operate without a Neutral wire has been discontinued by the sole manufacturer and new old stock is becoming increasing difficult to find. Our Heavy Duty Load Controllers still function as in the past but now require a Neutral wire. Contact us before ordering if a Neutral wire is not available for your installation. We may still be able to locate the discontinued component and custom assemble a unit that does not require a Neutral wire. A $20 surcharge is applied to units that do not require a Neutral wire connection.
All models come standard with two 3/4" PVC conduit adapters. Contact us if you would like a different size, location, or quantity of adapters. The adapters can also be deleted in favor of a rear opening for installation over a recessed wall outlet box. A weather resistant switch cover can be added for outdoor installations.
Note: All ampere ratings are for inductive loads. Pure resistive load ratings are 10 amps higher. (i.e. 30 amp rating = 40 amp resistive load) Contact us if you have questions.
We even offer an option for timed, secure access via keypad PIN or RFID key fob. These units provide a great solution for limiting access to electrical appliances, lighting or water usage in public or semi-public areas. Conserve energy and save money by automatically turning off water or power after a predetermined interval. Models available for both Single Phase and 3 Phase environments. All models can also be equipped with weather resistant switch covers for outdoor installation for a small additional charge. Contact us for additional information.
Our Heavy Duty Load Controller assemblies are built to order for your specific needs. Please allow 1 week for shipping. Contact us for additional information and pricing for custom requirements.
