This INSTEON Water Level Sensor Kit provides a way to sense a rise or fall in water level within a tank. Use use to detect high or low water levels in basement sumps, hydroponics, fresh or saltwater aquariums, pet bowls, pumps, ponds, air conditioning drain pans, or whatever your project may be.  It interfaces to a standard I/O Linc (included) and triggers INSTEON devices based on user settings. Simply mount the sensor at the desired water level and attach the wire leads to an I/O Linc. From there, you can have the I/O Linc module send out INSTEON or X10 commands to other INSTEON or X10 controlled devices such as a LampLinc or an ApplianceLinc to turn lights on or use with an automation controller to trigger notifications or other events when  water reaches an unacceptable level.
